Finding Amateur Rappers to Compete Against a Pro

In this video, I will be putting four amateur rappers up against one pro. To do this, I will be finding four aspiring rappers from my comments section and give them a chance to record to one of my beats. Little do they know, I will also be setting the same beat to a pro rapper, someone who has been making a living off of music for years with tens of millions of views. We will see how the amateurs compare to the real pro.

Introducing a Professional Rapper

Before we get into the competition, let's take a moment to introduce the pro rapper who will be participating in this challenge. Futuristic, a rapper who has been killing the game and making a living off of music for years, will be going up against the four amateur rappers. With his experience and talent, it will be interesting to see how the amateurs measure up to a seasoned pro.

The Process of Beat-Making

To ensure a fair competition, I start by creating a beat that is suitable for both the amateurs and the pro rapper. I want to make it challenging yet adaptable for each artist's style. I have the freedom to make the beat however I want, without tailoring it to a specific rapper. This allows for a true test of skill and creativity.

Arranging the Beat

Once the beat is created, it's time to arrange it in a way that will showcase the rappers' abilities. I create an intro, a hook, and a drop, giving them different sections to showcase their flow and lyrical prowess. The beat has a tempo of 130 BPM, slightly different from my usual style, but it provides a fresh challenge for the rappers.

Sending the Beat to the Rappers

With the beat fully arranged, I reach out to the four amateur rappers I selected from the comments section. I inform them about the challenge and give them the opportunity to record themselves performing over the beat. I also request a video of their performance for better evaluation. The rappers are unaware that they will be competing against a pro, adding an element of surprise and pressure.

After a few days, the amateur rappers respond with their recorded performances. I start by listening to K Dre's submission, where he showcases a strong flow and delivery. Overall, it is a solid performance, but I encourage him to emphasize the lyrics even more.

Next, Larry Woods presents a darker and more melancholic approach. Though different from my initial expectations, his performance is consistent and fits his style well.

Sawyer's performance is more melodic, departing from the traditional rap style. He surprises me with his unique approach and shows potential for growth in his artistry.

Lastly, Adriel delivers a solid performance, staying true to the flow and style set by the other amateur rappers. While nothing extraordinary stands out, it is a commendable effort.

Now, it's time to hear Futuristic's performance. From the first verse, it is clear why he is considered a seasoned pro. He effortlessly switches up flows, showcasing his versatility and lyrical prowess. However, the chorus becomes a bit repetitive, lacking a true hook. Nonetheless, Futuristic's performance outshines the amateurs, demonstrating his experience and skill.

After reviewing all the performances, it is evident that Futuristic's performance surpassed the amateurs. While the amateurs showed potential and delivered solid performances, they still have room for improvement to reach the level of a pro like Futuristic. Moving forward, I plan to drop the song featuring the pro rapper and one of the amateur artists, depending on the viewers' input and response.
